Would you know what to do if someone was choking, injured, or experience cardiac arrest?
KSB Hospital offers a variety of CPR and First Aid classes so that you are prepared for an emergency and know how to perform the life-saving technique of CPR. We offer certifications that meet the needs of any individual’s level of experience.
Our CPR instructors are trained and certified by the American Heart Association. Through our classes, participants will receive a two-year certification from the American Heart Association.
Heartsaver CPR/AED Course:
This course is for anyone looking to become CPR certified, for example, coaches, teachers, lifeguards, or anyone looking for general CPR certification.
This course will be 2 hours in length. Cost is $50 per person, which includes your workbook.
Family & Friends CPR Course:
This course is for anyone looking to learn the basics of CPR & AED. This class will cover hands only CPR/AED for Adult, Child and infant and Adult, Child and Infant rescue choking techniques. This course is not a certification class and will not provide you with a CPR/AED card for employment/compliance requirements.
This course will be approximately 1 1/2 hours in length. Cost is $30 per person, which includes your workbook.
Pediatrics CPR/AED & First Aid Course:
This course is for anyone looking to obtain Pediatric Certification, for example, Day Care providers, teachers, child care providers. This course fulfills 4C’s provider requirements.
This course will be approximately 6 hours in length. Cost is $80 per person, which includes your workbook and lunch.
BLS Healthcare Provider:
This course is for any healthcare provider looking to obtain CPR/AED certification. For example, nurses, physical therapists, physicians, EMT’s, nursing students, etc.
This course will be approximately 4 hours in length. Cost is $70 per person, which includes your workbook.
