The KSB Hospital was founded through a philanthropic gift in 1897 by Judge Solomon Bethea. For over 125 years, KSB has proudly served our rural community as an independent and locally managed healthcare system. The KSB Hospital Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) in 2019 to connect with donors who share our passion for our community and healthcare. Through the KSB Hospital Foundation, our donors invest in our hospitals, clinics, and, ultimately, the health and wellness of our community.
Impacting Now, Building For the Future
The KSB Hospital Foundation raises funds for community-based wellness programming, to meet the needs of some of our most vulnerable patients, and to ease the burden of vital capital projects. To ensure that our rural community continues to have the healthcare access you need and deserve, the KSB Hospital Foundation is building an endowment to support our local, independent hospital and clinics through individualized Planned Giving.
WAYS TO GIVE
Meaningful gifts can be made now and in the future. Current gifts can include cash, gifts of stock, gifts of appreciated assets, or an IRA rollover. Future gifts include bequests, gifts of insurance, gifts of real estate, and lifetime income gifts. FUNDING PRIORITIES
Investing in our future health is the number one priority. The KSB Hospital Foundation funds patient support and community wellness programming and raises funds for major capital renovations, all while building an endowment to enhance our community’s future health. The KSB Hospital Foundation will also match donors with efforts that mean the most to them.
